Lightings are very important system in the vehicle; there are numerous kinds of lights in the vehicle they range from headlight, taillight, parking light, brake light, door light etc. these light are usually connected to relays and fuses then to power source depending on the type of the light.

Lights connections are usually connected from bulb to relay, relay to fuse, fuse to voltage source and the circuit is completed. Similar lights can be connected in parallel in the same circuit this is to ensure easier connections and circuits.
Lights may have control module that regulates it operations especially for lights that have specified features such as brake light, parking light, alarms etc. these light modules are usually computerized and programmed to work with various sensors and actuators in the vehicles.
For example; brake lights and parking lights are turned on or activated when the brake pedal is being engaged, this process is being controlled by the control module with signals received from the brake sensors. Also when the body is the vehicle body is hit by excessive force it may cause the security alarm to ring and the lights also blink, this action is also being controlled by the control module.
